Manchester United pair of Ben Pearson and Joe Rothwell will spend First Half of the Next Season on loan at Barnsley. The youngters are seen as major prospect for the future, so therefore, they will join the League one side so as to gain much needed first team experience.
Pearson had previously spent time at tykes, and he made 21 appearances during the last campaign. Rothwell on the other hand had a taste of League Football at Blackpool last season, where he played 3matches and completed 79% of his passes in those games he played.
Both players have both represented England at under 20 level but they are unlikely to get into Van Gaal’s squad for the New Season. The pair’s deals with the League one outfit will run until 3 January 2016.
Barnsley Head coach is said to have been delighted to have secured the services of the two promising talents for the next 6months, he is hoping the duo will be a valuable assets to the team. Pearson was once a former United Academy Player of the year. The duo who have come through the Manchester United Academy have grown up playing in the Midfield for the Old Trafford Youth sides and both players will be partnered together again by the League one Club.
Barnsley Manager also thanked Loius Van Gaal team for allowing them secure the services of both players as Barnsley look to compete for promotion to the Second Tier of England Football.
