DONE DEAL+ PICTURE PROOF: Arsenal Striker Target Arrives North London, Officially Completes Move

The battle for supremacy in North London have been shifted to the transfer market as Tottenham seem to have best their arch rivals Arsenal to the signature of Clinton Njie from Lyon.

The announcement of the completion of the deal was made by Tottenham over their twitter account when they tweeted:

The 21-year-old Cameroonian was a part of Lyon’s team that graced the Emirates cup and since then ignited a tussle for his signature by the two arch rivals. However, spurs have now won the race of landing the winger.

It is however understood that the Gunners made last ditch efforts to land the winger not before Spurs secured his signature.

Although, the Gunner have missed out on the winger, they are obviously not short in that are of the pitch  with the likes of Sanchez, Chamberlain, walcott, welbeck still actively involved in their first team

Arsene wenger has openly stated that he is looking to add a quality forward that can guarantee 15goals every season, with seven goals in 37 appearances over three years for Lyon, Njie doesn’t fit into the category of Wenger’s desire for forwards. Hence, no cause for worry.
