Done Deal – POWERFUL 6ft 0″ Arsenal DM Target Signs

In Claudio Ranieri’s rebuilding efforts this summer, Leicester City have successfully completed the signing of 31-year-old Switzerland international defensive midfielder from Napoli on a 3 year deal.

This must be coming as a bad news to the Gunners as Inler has been a long-term target for the Emirates outfits from his days at Udinese between 2007 and 2011.

The Gunners have been tipped to do well this season, but not without reinforcing their defensive midfield position with Francis Coquelin recent poor show-offs especially in Arsenal’s first match and defeat of the season against Cystal Palace. With Inler’s price tag, the Gunners should have snapped a deal for the 31-year-old highly experienced defensive midfielder.

However, Inler is expected to add the much –needed steel and tenacity to the midfield of the Foxes especially with the sale of Esteban Cambiasso . The news was made official on Leicester’s official twitter handle:

The Swizz international played most of his matches from the Bench for Napoli last season but has now opted to look elsewhere in other to get regular playing time under his belt.

He made 166 appearances for Napoli spanning his four years with the club and his experience will be crucial for Napoli this season.
