€35m Deal Agreed For Arsenal Target, Player To Fly In For Medical This Weekend
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has taken to his twitter handle @DiMarzio to confirm that Arsenal target Arturo Vidal is on his way to Bayern Munich not Arsenal. According to the very reliable journalist, the deal will be made official in the next couple of hours after both Bayern Munich and Juventus reached an agreement on a transfer fee.
Di Marzio confirmed the Germans will pay the Italian fix amount of €35 million but with some addons to acquire the player. Reports claim the player has already flown to German and will under go a medical with the Bavarians later today.
Vidal was initially thought to be on his way to Arsenal with some reports claiming the gunners had agreed a five years deal with the player and was going to pay Juventus £30 million or €33 for the player. The reports then claimed Arsenal could not announce the deal as they had to wait for the player to be done with the COPA America.
Vidal was also linked with a move to Real Madrid with some reports in Spain going as far as claiming he has agreed a deal with the Galaticos and will be wearing shirt number 23 for them next season.
Di Marzio reliable and we believe the his report is true. We fully expect the player to complete the move to the bundesliga as Di Marzio has said but it is unclear whether Arsenal were ever interested in the player or whether Wenger had to pull out of the race to sign him due to the car accident mess Vidal was involved in couple of weeks ago.
