€40m Manchester United Arrives For Medical, Personal Terms & Fee Agreed

If the report doing the round in Spain is anything to go by, Manchester United target Nicolas Otamendi might have arrived in the city of Manchester this afternoon in order to complete a €40 million move to Manchester United’s arch rivals Manchester City.

The high rated CB has been linked with a move to the red devils but it seems Louis Van Gaal and Ed Woodward the deal maker have baulked at Valencia’s asking price and city have moved quickly to wrap up a deal for the Argentine.

The player is now said to have arrived for his medical and will be signing a five years contract with the citizens. Should the reports be true, United will have themselves to blame especially if they do not manage to bring in a centre back before the window closes.

With just Smalling, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Pseudo centre back Blind the only centre backs at Manchester United, it will be too risky to end the window without having signed a centre back and let’s face it, United’s options in the market is getting eroded by the day.
