Ed Woodward At It Again!!! Set To Complete SHUNNING £65m Deal For United

Recent reports coming out of Germany claim that Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has told his friends he would be open to a move to Manchester United. The 24 year old has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in this summer window and might be considering following in the footsteps of his former team-mate Bastian Schweinsteiger. It is understood that the German forward will not turn down an opportunity to be reunited with his former boss Louis Van Gaal who handed him first team opportunities while he was in charge at Bayern Munich.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to pay as high as €85 million for the 25 year old but Bayern Munich have insisted that Thomas Muller is not for sale. Louis Van Gaal is in dire need of a forward to boost his attacking options after missing out on Barcelona winger Pedro. The Red Devils have scored just two goals in the Premier League thus far, with Kyle Walker’s own goal constituting one of the two goals.

With Rooney’s lacklustre performances so far, many would be expecting Manchester United to go all out for a striker before the transfer window slams shut. 25 year old Thomas Muller is definitely the type of striker, United need at this point. The German forward is a very clinical striker with a very keen eye for goal and is bound to succeed at Manchester United. However it remains to be seen how the Red Devils will attempt to lure Thomas Muller to Old Trafford with the club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge maintaining a stiff stance on selling the highly rated forward.
