Eden Hazard leaving England, Real Madrid agrees £74m clause, player keen to sign next week
BuzzSport reports that Chelsea will generate the cash for the purchases from the sale of Eden Hazard. According to the report, Los Blancos are ready to meet the Blues’ valuation of £74m of the Belgian international.
Other clubs including French champions PSG are also interested in the services of the 24-year-old, but Real Madrid are the current favourites to sign the player.
Real Madrid wants Hazard to replace the outgoing Cristiano Ronaldo next summer and the player himself is understood to be keen on the move to the La Liga.
The Belgian was instrumental in the double winning season under former manager Jose Mourinho, but he has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge this year, and he is yet to score a goal for the Blues this season. He has also seemed to have lost the support of club fans following the sacking of former manager Jose Mourinho.
