Europa League Winner Arrives For Medical, To Complete Chelsea Transfer Today

According to Sky reporter Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are on the verge of sending another player out on loan. Chelsea youngster Nathaniel Chalobah looks set to join the long list of players out on loan by Italian side Napoli on a season long loan move.

Despite being just 20, Nathaniel Chalobah is set to go on his sixth loan spell in his career, having played for Watford , Nottingham Forest , Middlesbrough ,Burnley before later ending up at Reading where he impressed.

The 20 year old was spotted at the airport earlier and is expected to undergo a medical at Napoli, before finalising his move. Contrary to earlier reports, Napoli have no option to buy the 20 year old after the loan deal as Nathaniel Chalobah is believed to be in Jose Mourinho’s plans for the future.

The defensive midfielder will be hoping to do better in the top flight division of Italy, having struggled to impress in the top flight division of the English league. The 20 year old faces a stern test in trying to register more playing time at Napoli but the departure of Gokhan Inler to Leicester could aid Chalobah in his bid for more game time.
