Eva Carneiro To Return To Work This Week, Disgraced Doctor Returns To London

After being bashed and rubbished and slandered in the British Press with very false accusations and also enduring much tongue-lashing from Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro was sent out of the Stamford Bridge still, in a very embarrassing manner and had to just take a break from football.

She however now looks set for another Physio job with Championship side Charlton Athletic as the club is set to be really in need of her services and are set to discuss with the doctor after resolving her legal issues with her former employers Chelsea.

Carneiro was wrongly accused of a lot of issues which started when the Physio raced towards winger Eden Hazard when he was fouled in the club’s first match of the season against Swansea City which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Mourinho claimed that she was naive and demoted her from all first team activities.

Although the English FA later cleared Jose Mourinho of using any lewd and discriminatory language towards the doctor, she was very angry with the FA and claimed they had wrongly supported Mourinho and based all their assumptions on hearsay. Carneiro said: “I was surprised to learn that the FA was allegedly investigating the incident of 8 August via the press. I was by no stage requested to make a statement. I wonder whether this might be the only formal investigation in this country where the evidence of the individuals involved in the incident was not considered relevant. Choosing to ignore some of the evidence will surely influence the outcome of the findings.”

Some part of Chelsea fans are however of the opinion that her issue with Chelsea has also affected Hazard in a way and has led to his lacklustre performances.
