Finally A CB? Chelsea Plan £33m January Bid For High Rated CB – Not Stones

Chelsea made a bid for Marquinhos in the summer transfer window as a potential centre-back replacement for aging John terry but could not get the player’s services as they stopped bids at £30.6 million for the player and PSG still did not budge.

However, Mourinho has clearly stated that he will go back in January with a £33 million bid for the player and hopes PSG will sell the defender to Chelsea to give them the back four which they lack right now and are suffering for.

Although, Mourinho reportedly made this same offer for the player in the summer transfer window but was not even granted audience, he hopes to go back with same offer and see if the club will want to cash in on the player who might also be ready to leave the club for another due to frustration from lack of first team football at the club.

The 21-year-old defender is one of the best centre-backs in the world right now despite his young age and has proven himself over and over with enough experiences to match up to any other player in Chelsea at the moment.

The player has only made four starts for PSG this season and is reportedly frustrated there especially with the fact that Thiago Silva and David Luiz are players in front of him in the pecking order and therefore might consider a Chelsea move so he can have first team football.

However, he might still also not want to move to Chelsea where he will have to slug it out with defenders like Kurt Zouma, John Terry, Gary Cahill and Papy Djilobodji and may likely end up suffering the same fate as he is now.
