Finally Good Injury News For Manchester Utd – Star Set For Return

Manchester United boss has recently bemoans the injury concerns in his team with nothing less than seven to eight players out every weekend. This has led to debut for at least four U-21 players. With Ander Herrera having a slight issue with his ribs, he will be unavailable for selection against Everton on Sunday and Manchester United is set to miss his influential midfielder.

Although Herrera’s unavailability will be a headache for the manager, Rooney’s suspension will too and the return of Marouane Fellaini will assist the manager in his selection. Marouane Fellaini have been intraining for the past one week and the manager feels he is still not fit enough to play the full 90 minutes but didn’t rule out the fact that the Belgian could be involved in a match against his former club Everton. Fellaini has not been at his best since joining Manchester United last summer and will hope to put in good performances this season to fight for a place in the squad. The 26 year old scored his first goal ever for the club against Valencia in a Pre-season friendly in Old Trafford last August and will want to rely on that to pick up his form. The towering midfielder will add a bit to the style and dynamism of the team as they search for balance and consistent results.

Although Darren Fletcher, the team’s vice captain is expected to feature ahead of Fellaini, the Belgian been available will at least give the manager an option if needed especially with the suspension of Wayne Rooney. Manchester united may not have major problems going forward but the defence has been a suspect all season and the manager will also want to consider that in his selection.

Marouane Fellaini was linked with a move away from Old Trafford late in the summer transfer window with high interest from Napoli and Rafael Benitez but the move never worked out and the Belgian who featured at the 2014 FIFA world cup will have to fight for a place in Manchester United. The arrival of Di Maria, Herrera and Blind will reduce his role at the club but a decent display may convince the manager to give him more playing time.

Marouane Fellaini’s availability is a welcomed development as he is expected to assist the team in any way he can and add more to the present team. His height may also be of help in upcoming fixtures.
