Five Transfers Arsenal Can Complete This Week

Similar the Gunner’s first match of the season against Aston Villa two seasons ago, Arsenal were hammered by the Hammers on their turf in a game that saw Wenger threw up all his available strikers into the game, including the unfit Alexis Sanchez, yet that desperation ended up being futile as the Gunners failed to find the back of the net.

Fans, legends and Pundits have tipped Arsenal to well this season, not without signing a prolific goal scorer and a defensive midfielder.

These are five players that Arsenal can lure to the Emirates.

Benzema

The prolific goal scorer was targeted by Wenger during his days at Lyon and this season Wenger has remained resolute in his pursuit of his French compatriot. It is understood that the Los Blancos boss, Raphael Benitez, has no plans to play Benzema as his point-man as he favors Ronaldo as his striker. Benzema, will no doubt be uncomfortable playing from the bench. The 27-year-old can be lured to Arsenal as he will have more playing time under his belt and is expected to partner very well with midfield maestro Mesut Ozil.

Joel Campbell

The 23-year-old world cup star, who has been on loan since January, is said to be back and wants to further his career. The world cup star is more skillful than Oliver Giroud whose only good ability is hold-up play. With more chance giving to him, Campbell may just be the missing pieces on the puzzle for Arsenal. The Gunner may not need to look outwards afterall.

Julian Draxler

The 22year-old German winger is being described as fast, skillful and very good on one-on-one situations. Arsenal have been monitoring him for several seasons but this summer, Juventus offered €15m for the player which Schalke rejected leaving the door open for Arsenal. He can also play on any side of the wings and this might just be the right time for Arsenal. A few Germans play for Arsenal, the Gunners can use them as bait for Draxler.

Edison Cavani

The 28-year-old Uruguay international was at one time, tipped as one of the best strikers in the world. However, since his switch to the French champions PSG, he has been made to play from the wings because of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. However, Cavani has clearly expressed his dissatisfaction. Arsenal can take advantage of his situation and bring him to North London. Although, Wenger attempted to sign him in 2013.

Grzegorz krychowia

He was very impressive for Sevilla last season and was named in the La Liga team of the season. Krychowiak can also play as a central defender giving him edge over Coq. Krychiowiak is 25years, and looks like a better player than Coq in all aspects. He has a buyout clause of around €30m and he is being very open about possible move to a better club.
