Emanuele Giulianelli has been tweeting almost every time, that Karim Benzema is joining Arsenal. He has agreed a 120k a week contract and has agreed to be an Arsenal player. He also said Benzema is set to arrive on Sunday for his medical. The story has been on twitter for few days now.

Giulianelli was first to break the news that Arsenal had signed Alexis Sanchez. He also stated that Arsenal were in talks to sign Kostas Manolas. Until today, it was only Giulianelli that was tweeting this story. Everyone’s favorite Arsenal fan Piers Morgan claims he has been told Benzema is close to joining Arsenal. A rarely wrong source tells that Arsenal are close to the signing that would make them genuine title contenders.

Wenger believes Benzema is worth over 40million pounds.

Last year, Benzema scored 15 league goals in 29 appearances and 6 Champions league goals in 8 appearances, coupled with 10 league assists. So in total he scored 21 goals and registered 10 assists. The previous season he finished the season with 17 goals in 34 appearances, 5 Champions league goals in 11 appearances and a total of 14 assists.

Last season also, Benzema scored a goal for every 4.6 shots in La liga. The season before, he struck the net for every 6.8 shots. Benzema can dribble past defenders, his pace will take him pass defenders and also his hold up play is phenomenal. And he is surely a class above Giroud. He has so far scored 42 goals in the Champions league which makes him a prolific Centre forward.
