Chelsea have been linked with a shock move for former Arsenal and Man Utd striker Robin Van Persie. The Express reports that the Blues are looking for a possibility to bring the Dutchman to Stamford Bridge on a short term deal.
The Dutch international is having a terrible time at his current club Fenerbahce and is said to be interested in a move back to Premier League.
The 32-year-old striker moved to Turkey from Man Utd in the summer and has made only 10 league starts in the Turkish league.
He has scored seven league goals during his time with Fenerbahce, but still hasn’t managed to cement his place in the starting eleven.
However, the report mentions any possible deal for Persie hinges on Alexandre Pato’s arrival at the West London Club. The Brazilian has been reported to have agreed a loan deal with the Blues and is expected to arrive in London on Wednesday.
