Former Chelsea Star to Sign for Man Utd Before Deadline and Solve Injury Crisis – United Offering £20m

Man Utd are facing an injury crisis in the left-back position. First-choice Luke Shaw is already out with a long-term injury and recent injury to Ashley Young has forced the club’s hand into the market.

Daily Star claims that Man Utd are considering a move for Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand.

The 26-year old has established himself as one of the best left-backs in Premier League following his move to St Mary’s Stadium from Chelsea.

In the absence of Luke Shaw, he is also the first-choice left-back of the England national team and is expected to travel to Euro Cup with the Three Lions.

The report claims that United are plotting a £20million move for the player, but it remains to be seen whether Saints manager Ronald Koeman will let the player leave in mid-season.
