Liverpool Target Agrees Deal, To Sign Four Years Contract

EPL duo of Arsenal and Liverpool are set to experience a hurdle in their aspirations of signing La Liga midfielder, Dani Ceballos. The teenager is on the transfer target list of both clubs following his displays at the Segunda division in Spain last season where he helped Real Betis to the title win and a subsequent promotion to the La Liga.

But they will have to look elsewhere as he is set to pen a new improved contract that will keep him in Spain for a couple of more seasons. From the look of things, the 19 year-old prefers being settled at the Pepe Mel-led team to heading elsewhere where competition for a starting role abounds.

Arsenal and Liverpool had plans to get the player on a cheap, but the new deal will now see a new buyout clause of 11 million Pounds included, alongside a rise in wages. Ceballos remains a high-priority for the Real Betis side, and he has made 1 assist in 6 League appearances for the side so far.

The newly-promoted side are currently 8th on the La Liga League table after having lost 2 games. And with the quality of services Ceballos render, they will be keen to hold on to him much longer after his initial deal expires season ending.

Liverpool have had a rough start to the season, and have had to show Brendan Rodgers the exit door. A move for the Spaniard midfielder, who is also a Chelsea-target come January has always been in the books. Arsene Wenger continues to come under fire to his refusal to sign an outfield midfielder in Summer, hence the Ceballos links. However with the look of things, the 19 year-old wont be available for a transfer to either clubs come January.
