Chelsea’s brilliant performance at Crystal Palace on Sunday has surely raised thoughts whether or not this is the opening of a notable Blues recovery under Guus Hiddink. As supporters are already thinking about the London Club returning to its good form, Hiddink will be looking forward to make use of the January transfer window to bring in new players to freshen up the squad.
One of the big names that has been linked with the Blues is Real Madrid’s star, Gareth Bale. Bale who is believed to be disappointed after Rafael Benitez was shown the exit door at Bernabeu, seems to be considering his future at Real Madrid.
Although Manchester United are set to prepare a bid to land the Welshman, Chelsea are ready to join the race for Gareth Bale this summer.
According to our sources, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale could swap Chelsea and Real Madrid because of the Blues know how Zinedine Zidane is interested to bring Hazard to Real Madrid.
Zidane has disclosed that Bale is saddened with Benitez leaving the club after establishing a good working relationship. “I understand that Gareth could be upset by Rafa’s departure because he was a very important coach in his career,” Zidane said.
He also went further to insist that Gareth is a great asset to his squad and he will offer his support to appease him.
“But he is going to receive the same affection from me. He is fundamental for the team and what he has been doing of late for us on the pitch is phenomenal. He will have all my support so that he continues to play well for us,” he explained.
It is rumored that Madrid chief Florentino Perez is looking forward to prepare a bid for the Hazard this summer. The English Footballer of the year scored 19 goals to help Chelsea win the Premier League title last season under former gaffer Jose Mourinho.
