Fabregas Responds to Mourinho

Gary Neville planning shock move for Cesc Fabregas, player returns to Spain in January

Gary Neville’s Valencia are planning a sensational swoop for one of Chelsea’s Premier League-winning star. According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Los Che are planning a shock move for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

The Spanish international signed for the Blues from Barcelona during the summer of 2014 and helped Chelsea win the Premier League title in his first season with the club. But he has suffered a huge dip in his form this season, and he is one of the underperforming stars of the London club this season. His dip in form coincided with the Blues’ struggles this season, which has ultimately led to Jose Mourinho’s sacking this week.

Valencia manager Gary Neville is familiar with the talents of Fabregas, having played against him in Premier League, and is willing to take the bet on the talented midfielder. It’s unclear whether Fabregas features in the plans of newly appointed Guus Hiddink’s plans, but according to the report Neville thinks quite highly of him.
If Neville could convince Fabregas to move to Mestalla, it would be quite a coup for him in his first season at the club.
