“Get Me This World Cup Winner” LVG Tells Ed Woodward To Sign Chelsea Target

Louis van Gaal is known as one of the most ruthless managers in world football. His penchant for sticking with his principle has made him one of the most respected managers not just in Europe, but all over the world. It is nothing but the best as far as the Dutchman is concerned. Once a target as been identified, he leaves nothing to place to see that such a player is signed by those saddled with the responsibility of doing so. To fortify his team against next season, the Dutchman wasted no time in placing some players on the transfer list. Two players, Radamel Falcao and Robin Van Persie have already left the club. To fill the void left by these players, the manager has identified Barcelona striker, Pedro as the right man.

According to talkSPORT, the Dutchman has asked the management of the club to secure the signing of the Spanish international from Barcelona before the end of the window. Pedro’s release clause is £21 million, but that is not where the Red Devils are likely to face a challenge, as reports in the media suggest that Chelsea are also interested in signing the World Cup winner this summer.

Pedro’s arrival could further help to fuel the speculations surrounding the future of Angel Di Maria, who is being heavily linked with a move to PSG this summer. The Telegraph reports that Paris Saint-Germain are set to make a £45 million bid for the Argentine international.
