Granit Xhaka has Signed a £30m Agreement with Liverpool, Wenger and Guardiola to Lose Out

Arsenal target Granit Xhaka is repeatedly expressing his desire to play in the Premier League. The Gunners were rumoured to bid for the midfielder in the January transfer window, but Mohamed Elneny was the only major signing for Arsene Wenger’s side.

Xhaka plays for Borussia Monchengladbach, and had initially expressed his desire to play in the Premier League last month. Arsenal was repeatedly associated with the Swiss international’s signature but it never happened.

Manchester City and Liverpool had also entered the scenario towards the end of the transfer window and it seems all three clubs would now stay alert during the summer for the midfielder.

Speaking to Sky Sports in Germany, Xhaka revealed that the interest from different Premier League clubs is very encouraging.

“I think everybody has a dream,” he said.

“Everybody has a childhood dream and that’s my childhood dream. If my dream comes true, it remains to be seen. At the moment I cannot say how realistic it is.”

According to Metro, Manchester City is expected to make a huge bid for the player in the summer, with the arrival of Pep Guardiola as the new manager.

According to latest reports, Granit Xhaka has sign Liverpool pre-contract agreement.

Should Arsenal win the league, the Emirates might become a more tempting side to opt for, provided Arsene Wenger makes a reasonable bid for the player.
