GREAT NEWS – Arsenal Defender HINTS Arsenal Will Sign Benzema This Summer

Arsenal star Kieran Gibbs has “unintentionally” leaked what could be a major signing for Arsenal this summer. In the last few weeks, Arsenal have been linked to the signing for Real Madrid and France international striker Karim Benzema.

According to many reports, Wenger is keen on signing a world class player for Arsenal this summer and this is aside the signing of Petr Cech from Chelsea. Many reports have linked Arsenal to the signing of Karim Benzema but no one from Arsenal ( unless you consider the statement of Lord Harris as a hint ) has said anything about signing Benzema.

Wenger has consistently said he will sign another player should someone truly world class become available but Gibbs during Arsenal’s annual members day has hinted at the signing of Karim Benzema.

Popular Arsenal micro blogger @Mickthegooner who was at Arsenal’s members day tweeted via his twitter account “Junior Gunner to Kieran Gibbs: “Who would you like to see wearing Arsenal #9 shirt next season?”

Short pause then Gibbs said: “Benzema!”

This in my opinion that Benzema could be on his way to Arsenal. Or why else will Gibbs be saying that if he does not know something we all do not know? And considering he is truly an insider, there is a good chance he knows Benzema is on his way to Arsenal.
