GREAT NEWS – Arsenal PLAN SHOCKING £30m BID For German Attacker – Not Reus

Arsenal are back in Germany once again, this time for the signing of one of their long-term target, Julian Draxler of Schalke 04.

The Gunners had a bid turned down last year, during the winter window, when the German club refused to allow the player leave. Though, the player later came out to reveal that a bid was indeed placed on the table for his club; the management failed to sanction the move, with no specific reasons given at the time for the club’s decision.

According to sources in Germany, the Gunners are now ready to go in with another bid, and hopefully to beat Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City in the race to sign highly talented midfield star. According to the report, the German club is desperate to get the player off their books this window as they set their mind on signing former Bayern Munich forward and current Inter Milan striker Xherdan Shaqiri.

According to the Daily Express, which also confirmed the story, the Gunners are set to return to the Bundesliga to test Schalke’s resolve with a bid said to be in the region of £30million for the highly talented midfielder. Sky Sports also reported that the player is set to make a switch to the EPL this summer.

Draxler, 21, has been on Wenger’s radar for quite a while now, and it seems the Gunners’ boss may finally land his man this summer if all these reports coming in from the press are true.
