GREAT NEWS – Benzema To Make Arsenal Move As Madrid Signs Replacement

In what could have a positive effect on Arsenal’s chances of signing Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, Real Madrid have reportedly complete the signing of high rated Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

The news was first broke by Italia media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, but Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini has now confirmed the news following Inter’s friend match against Greek giants AEK Athens yesterday.

Mancini was quoted by goal.com as saying; “What can you do? There are rules to respect. There is FFP and I don’t think any of us wanted this but unfortunately we have to follow Uefa’s impositions,” he told Mediaset Premium.

According to reports, Mateo Kovacic will be joining Real Madrid to play the attacking midfield role ( he can also play as defensive midfielder and as well as a box to box midfielder ) which gives room for Benitez to push either of Ronaldo or Bale to the striking role while Benzema either leaves or drop down to the bench.

Both AS and Marca ( pro Madrid papers ), have in the last few weeks been claiming Benitez intends to use either Ronaldo or Bale as a striker in the new seasons which has now been confirmed confirmed by Madrid’s signing of Mateo Kovacic.

With Arsenal waiting on the wing and Wenger seemingly keen, this may be a perfect opportunity of Wenger to finally sign his number one target.
