Manchester United are reportedly ready to strengthen their left back and are preparing a summer move to bring Juventus star left-back Alex Sandro. United have reportedly quizzed Juventus numerous times over availability of the Brazilian to replace Luke Shaw.
United are reportedly planning for a future without Shaw and are eager to sign his replacement this summer. Shaw has been out of action this season since suffering a double fracture of his leg during the Champions League defeat by PSV Eindhoven back in September.
The former Southampton left-back joined United on a £27 million move before the start of the season. The 20-year-old has been working hard on his rehabilitation in recent weeks and will make a return to the team next season.
But according to recent reports, United have reportedly given up on the defender and already considering to sign Sadro.
The Red Devils has taken a keen interest in the defender, who has excelled for the Italian Champions since his summer move from FC Porto.
It is claimed that they will have to meet the defender release clause of £35 million and still battle out with Premier League rivals Manchester City, who are also keen on signing the defender.
