Guardiola’s Agent Finally Confirmed Manager is Moving To England, Club Directors Already Met With Him

Pep Guardiola is a hot property in world football right now. Bayern Munich manager is leaving the German club in the summer and has been linked with a summer move to a number of clubs.

Various reports have linked him with a move to Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal in the summer. Some reports have even claimed that he has already agreed to a deal with City to succeed Manuel Pellegrini at Etihad Stadium in the summer. But, if Guardiola’s agent Josep Maria Orobitg’s recent comments are to believed, then Chelsea are pretty much in the race for the services of the former Barcelona manager.

Orobitg claimed that there is no deal in place for Guardiola to move to any particular club in the summer. “He hasn’t said anything to me,” Orobitg said. “In any case, it’s not something that we are considering at the moment. The Premier League is a big possibility. Pep will make a decision in two or three months’ time. Everything remains a possibility, including a sabbatical year.”

He also claimed that he and his client haven’t been approached by Ligue 1 champions PSG. “I have never spoken to the president of PSG, not recently or at any time in the past,” he told L’Equipe. “I have had contact with his sporting director [Olivier Letang], but that was to speak about one of my players. We have never discussed Pep’s situation, and PSG have not asked me anything about his plans.”

According to Daily Mirror, Chelsea have already made an offer to Pep to take over the managerial duties at Stamford Bridge, but for now, it remains to been where the Spaniard ends up going in the summer.
Latest reports on Twitter suggest Manchester City is very active in the chase as they already met with Guardiola last week.

The 44-year old won three La Liga titles and two Champions League titles during his four-year stint with Barcelona. At Bayern Munich, he has claimed two Bundesliga titles, since his arrival 2013, but he has failed to win continental honours with the club.
