“I Am Off To Old Trafford” World Cup Winner Tells Friends He Wants Man United Move

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller is desperate for Manchester United move, says Metro, and as per Daily express, the prolific goalscorer has revealed privately to friends that he fancies an Old Trafford move this summer.

Muller has been a subject of transfer interest from United in recent times, as Louis van Gaal wants to bolster his options in attack. The Red Devils have signed Bastian Schweinsteiger earlier this summer and the Bayern hierarchy declared after the midfielder joined that none of their top stars would be joining the Premier League club anymore this summer.

Express revealed Bayern have rebuffed two bids from United – the last one around Ā£60m. The Germany international have now given his former boss a boost after reportedly claiming he wants a move to Old Trafford. He could now follow the footsteps of Schweinsteiger and become a Red Devil before the transfer window closes in three weeks’ time.

As per Express, Muller has privately disclosed his decision to friends and that Manchester United are ready to break the British transfer record of Ā£59.7m – which brought Angel Di Maria to United last summer – to bring in the forward, and they will not give up until the deadline.

Muller scored twice in Bayern’s 5-0 win over Hamburg on Friday and although chairman Karl Heinz-Rummenigge insisted the forward is staying put, coach Pep Guardiola – who has reportedly had a fall-out with the German ace – will be willing to cash in on him.

The World Cup winning 25-year old has now confided in friends and he knows his wages will enjoy a hefty rise if he makes the switch to Old Trafford. Although he played 90minutes on only 14 occasions, Muller was also impressive last season scoring 13 goals in 32 Bundesliga appearances.

United have had a 100% record so far this season, having won 1-0 against Tottenham and Aston Villa, earning them six good points.
