“I Have Already Signed For Manchester United” World Q/Finalist Tell Friends

The ESPN has chipped in with a report that Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas was prepared to joined Manchester United during the summer, but his agent slowed down negotiations in the potential transfer. According to ESPN, the Chilean has revealed to his friends he already signed for Manchester United before the deal was pulled.

Navas was billed to move to Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, with United’s number one shot-stopper David De Gea also expected to move to the Santiago Bernabeu in a swap deal.

The transfer was close to completion in the final hours of the deadline, but it later fell through due to the late arrival of De Gea’s paperwork. It was reported that the necessary documents did not arrive on time before the close of the window.

As per ESPN, Navas was indeed ready to join the Red Devils during that period, but the agent of the Costa Rican goalkeeper hindered the deal by slowing it down.

Navas’ agent is said to have added so many clauses to the contract that it stalled the move.

Now Navas is still at Real, and has recorded five clean sheets for Los Blancos so far this season, while De Gea has also picked off from his brilliant outings for United last season. The former Atletico Madrid shot-stopper has now helped Louis van Gaal’s men record victories in all of their Premier League matches since his returning to the starting eleven.
