INSANE Abramovich Plotting World Record £120m Bid for Frustrated Real Madrid Superstar Gareth Bale

Chelsea are plotting a £120 million bid for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, according to Football Insider 247. The Blues will join the Premier League rivals Man Utd in the chase of the Wales international. The 26-year old joined Real Madrid from Tottenham for a world record bid of £90m in 2013.

Bale is apparently upset with the sacking of former manager Rafa Benitez and might consider leaving the Los Blancos in near future. The Times have already reported that the departure of Benitez has left Bale severely disappointed. According to the report, Bale has previously informed Real president Florentino Perez that he has a good working relationship with Benitez and would love to continue working with the Spaniard at Santiago Bernabeu.

Now, Man Utd and Chelsea want to take advantage of the situation and plan to convince the Welshman to make a return to Premier League. United have previously attempted to bring the player to Old Trafford, but their efforts were rebuffed by Real.

Reports further claim that Bale will wait to see his role in the team under new manager Zinedine Zidane before deciding his future. Bale would prefer to play in a central role, rather than out wide. But it remains to be seen how Zidane will deploy the trio of Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema in his starting eleven.

However, Zidane provided strong backing to Bale on Tuesday. “I understand he can be annoyed with the departure of Benítez because he [Benítez] was an important coach for him but he is going to have the same affection [from me] as with Rafa.”

“He is important for the squad, fundamental for the team. He’s phenomenal and what he has been doing recently is fantastic. I am going to give him all my affection and support so that he plays well for us.”

Zidane pointed out that he intends to play Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. “Yes, I will play with the three. Yes. The idea is that. Clearly.”
