It appears Jose Mourinho still remains the biggest transfer news when Manchester United are concerned. It appears Louis Van Gaal’s’ days are numbered as the Red Devils look to replace the Dutch following two unsuccessful years at the club.
Jose Mourinho reportedly agreed to join Manchester United yet the Red Devils have remained tight – lipped about incoming manager Jose Mourinho for some time. This is due to shaky hands from executive vice chairman Ed Woodward who remains undecided about appointing the Portuguese manager.
However, the club and manager have signed a compensation agreement which states Mourinho will be paid a large sum of money should United chose to stick with Louis Van Gaal. The Dutch manager is been given a chance to prove his credentials by reaching the top 4 and winning the FA cup.
Sources suggest the Portuguese manager would be given a £300 million transfer treasure chest. United hope to rebuild their squad after Louis Van Gaal’s signings have failed to make a fundamental impact to help United retain their crown amongst Europe’s elite.
Most notably big money move for Angel Di Maria went horrendously wrong . The talented winger was exceptional for Real Madrid and remains key to Paris Saint-Germain’s success yet Louis Van Gaal failed to make it work for him.
Louis Van Gaal’s system forces players out of their natural positions and therefore not as resourceful. Juan Mata has ever really got going to his ultimate best since moving from Chelsea as he is a natural number 10 yet plays on the wings.
It is no secret that Louis Van Gaal’s tactics clearly don’t work towards the players strength nor do the fans seem pleased. They are not impressed with the Dutch manager’s style of play. Additionally they remain thirsty for silverware or at least attempting to challenge for the title.
However, the Dutch manager can be commended from having faith in his youth. Yet Van Gaal has trusted his youth, maybe too much at times yet its highlighted future talents such as Marcus Rashford.
Louis Van Gaal remain confident that he will have the opportunity to finish his contract with United. What could another year under Van Gaal mean for United?
