Is Muller Off To Old Trafford? Bayern Munich Director Speaks After €85m Bid From United

After hinting that the player might be offered up for sale, Manchester United have been rebuffed in their effort to land 25-year-old Germany international Thomas Muller from German champions Bayern Munich.

Sporting executive of Bayern Munich has insisted that Muller will remain with the German outfits’ despites interest from Manchester United and Arsenal. Equally, the club’s CEO karl-Heinz Rummenigge has also explicitly stated that Muller is not for sale despite the continuous interest and attraction from England.

As per sport Bild, the Red Devils made a bid of €85m for the world cup winner but Sammer revealed that Muller is priceless to Bayern and they are unwilling to accept any offer regardless.

“His performances have caused a stir, not Thomas.

“We can’t be blamed for anything but this. Rummenigge was right when pointing out that he is a player who has no price tag.” Sammer said.

Earlier this summer, Manchester United successfully landed Schweinsteiger from Bayern and it is thought that both clubs have a good relationship in the transfer market.

Even with the persistent rumours of Muller leaving Bayern, it is clear that those claims are false. However, Muller would have completed a perfect attacking trio in United of Depay, Rooney and Muller.
