Joe Allen Out, £35M Rated Aubameyang On The Way To Anfield

Still in search of his first win after 3 games in charge as new Liverpool’s boss, Klopp will be looking at making some major changes to the squad once the opportunity arises by Winter. The former Dortmund manager has promised not to bring in his former protégées at the German club to Anfield, yet there are talks that the club’s long-term target, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is being monitored and a swoop will be made for his services once the next transfer window opens. Klopp himself is planning on strengthening his attack line by bringing in a quality striker following the incessant injuries of Daniel Sturridge.

Aubameyang has been in sparkling form for the Bundesliga side since the beginning of the season, scoring 17 times in 13 games. As a result, he has attracted the likes of Barcelona and PSG who are keen on having him by January also. Getting him away from Dortmund won’t come easy, as the Sporting Director, Michael Zorc has declared that,

“Here, contracts don’t change. We are planning with him in the long term.”

But it is still believed that Liverpool are a step ahead of others and in prime position to get the Gabon international due to the presence of his former coach in the club.

With the striker coming in, Welsh player, Joe Allen is poised to depart by January once his contract expires by then. The Wales international arrived 3 seasons ago while Rodgers was still in charge, but has not been able to hold down a regular spot since. Joe has only made an 8-minute cameo appearance since Klopp arrived, and is currently deemed surplus to requirements. Stoke, Southampton and Leicester are said to be sizing up an offer for the 25 year-old who cost Liverpool £15 million when he first arrived.
