Jose Mourinho desperate for Manchester United job

Recently disgraced and sacked Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho might not be ready to leave the English Premier League and is reportedly very desperate to manage the only club he has wanted for as long as anyone can remember as he targets a move to Old Trafford to take over the reins at Manchester United if the Red Devils decide to go the Chelsea way and sack their manager Louis van Gaal.

The reports are also saying that he might be willing to take a huge pay cut in the sum of £16 million to go manage the team at Manchester United.

Mourinho is reported to be ready to sign a four-year deal with Manchester United and this will mean that he will be there for a while.

Recent performances have shown that Mourinho was not so bad at Chelsea but the players intentionally had a plan for him to be sacked so he might just have a chance at another club.

A source from Old Trafford said, “Jose is making no secret of how keen he is to take charge of United if the job becomes available. It is not about the money. Managing United has always been one of his ambitions because of the prestige and history associated with the club. He knows it would be a huge challenge, but he loves working in English football and would take a wage cut if it meant getting the chance to make United great again.”

The reports are also saying that Mourinho has been on the phone with Sir Alex Ferguson a lot recently as the former United manager has been appointed as the one to provide guidance on what United should do, so this might mean Mourinho is placing himself in pole position to be the next manager.
