Jose Mourinho Eager to Bring Real Madrid Star to Old Trafford, Zidane Speaks on the Transfer

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has denied any possibilities of Varane moving to Old Trafford in the summer.

The defender has been on Manchester United’s radar and it is speculated that arrival of Jose Mourinho, will eventually lead to Varane moving to Old Trafford.

Mourinho signed the France international in 2011 for Madrid and it is believed that the Portuguese manager will make way for the 22-year-old, should he become United’s manager. He signed for Madrid for a fee of £7.5 million, and since then has made 82 appearances in La Liga.

However, current Madrid boss, Zidane has ended any speculations of Varane parting ways with Los Blancos, saying, ‘For me, Raphaël Varane will stay here all his life.’

‘He embodies the future of Real Madrid.’

Raphael Varane is on the summer transfer shortlist along with Everton’s John Stones and Athletic Bilbao’s Aymeric Laporte.  Jose Mourinho prefers his former player and reportedly has asked the board to sign young superstar in this summer, as reported by MEN.

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has publicly spoke about Varane said: “Manchester United will regret their decision if they don’t move to try and sign both Raphael Varane and John Stones.”
