Jose Mourinho has Reportedly Signed a Three-year Contract with United Worth £15.5m-a-year and Already Picked Assistant

It has been a topsy-turvy season for Jose Mourinho. He started the season as a Premier League winner at Stamford Bridge and now at the end of the season, he is a par of constant speculation regarding Man Utd’s job.

Yesterday, reports emerged that United are looking at the possibility of hiring Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, and now again the tide has turned in the favour of Mourinho.

Express Sport claims that the Portuguese manager has already agreed on a deal to succeed Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the summer.

The former Chelsea manager has apparently told his close friends that a deal has already been agreed between the club and his representatives.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial has claimed that it will be a three-year deal which will see Mourinho pocket £15.5m-a-year wages.

Telegraph claims Jose Mourinho already picked his assistant in Rui Faria.

On Sunday, the former Chelsea manager claimed that he is eager to return to Premier League.

“I have always to learn. Even in football, which is an area in which I feel I am an expert, I am never perfect and I will always learn,” he said in an interview with Jaguar.

“Sometimes in my work, and also in private life, maybe people think I am not humble. But I am so humble, and I am always ready to learn from people who know more than me.

“No, I am not enjoying it [not working]. I can have my family, I can have my friends, I can have my quiet life, which I also like, and I can have my football. I can have everything together and I don’t need to give up on one of them.

“To be fully happy I need everything, so I go back to football. I think it’s my natural habitat. I have worked since I can remember, and as a manager since 2000.”

“I stopped when I left Chelsea in 2007, for a few months, and now is the second time I stop in 15 or 16 years, so it is not a drama. But for sure, I will be back soon.”
