Jose Mourinho Will Turn Things Around For Chelsea, Claims Respected Manager

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has predicted Jose Mourinho will find a lasting solution to the recent turmoil Chelsea are mired in, in the Premier League, reports the MSNBC.

Mourinho, 52, has come under huge scrutiny since the inception of the new season as his side continue to be underwhelming in the league, having already suffered defeat four times and concede 17 goals.

Now Ferguson, who retired from football management in 2013, thinks a top-notch manager like Mourinho will find an answer to his side’s woeful performances soon.

“I will say this as I know him well he will find a solution because that’s what good managers do, they find a solution,” Ferguson said.

“For instance when we lost the league, five times we lost it finishing second, the next year we won it.

“We created a solution and made sure it didn’t happen and he will do that.”

Mourinho has also been open in the criticism of himself and his side, whilst also admitting that some of his players have let him down in the campaign to date. Defender Branislav Ivanovic has come under flaks for a number of poor displays, while his countryman Nemanja Matic has also looked far from the form he was in when Chelsea won the Premier League title last term.

The Blues welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge after the end of the international break, and this will be an opportunity for Mourinho and his charges to turn things around after which they face a tough run against West Ham United, Stoke City and Liverpool all in October.
