Liverpool to Sign Borussia Star

Jurgen Klopp Found a £25m Solution for Defensive Injury Crisis, Englishman Reportedly Agrees to the Deal

According to reports, Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out with Manchester City since they are both considering a bid for West Ham defender Aaron Cresswell.

Cresswell has been attracted attention from several clubs in England and currently as Manchester City and Liverpool known to be the most interested clubs. Besides, the left-back was been the topic of interest from both Chelsea and Manchester United in the summer when the manager Sam Allardyce was forced to deny rumors of a £25 million buy-out clause.

And according to our close sources, Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is preparing a deal that will bring the 26-year-old left-back at Anfield in the January transfer window to solve the injury crisis that has affected his defense squad, while Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is keen on a summer move for the defender.

Cresswell has featured in all but one of West Ham’s top-flight fixtures this season and has shown great individual performances that have attracted interest from several clubs.

The Englishman signed a new five-year deal in June which is set to end in 2020.

Cresswell signed for West Ham from Ipswich in the summer of 2014 and has worked hard to become a mainstay at left back, featuring in all Premier league fixtures regardless of being his first season on top-flight football.
It is reported that the left-back desires to play Champions League football and a move by from an elite club could be enough for him to leave the London club. Besides, it is possible that West Ham manager Slaven Bilic may not be able to hand onto the highly rated defender at these season.
