Jurgen Klopp Offering £45m to Bring Former Real Madrid Striker Today, Reds to Beat Arsenal in the Pursuit

With just one more day left on the January transfer window, there has been more speculations linking different clubs to a number of players.

In that vein, Liverpool are reportedly the frontrunners in the race for Juventus forward Alvaro Morata, according to Calciomercto.

The former Real Madrid striker has failed to replicate his sensational goal scoring form this season and has gradually fallen behind Paulo Dybala in the pecking order.

Morata has only managed to score a total of 20 goals in 74 appearances for Juventus since joining the Seria A outfit from Real Madrid in 2014.

According to reports in Spain, Chelsea are also keeping close tabs on the 23-year-old forward and are interested to sign the forward ahead of next season.

It is also reported that Arsenal and Tottenham are also keen on securing the services of Morata.

Although the Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is ready to bolster his attacking line by spending £45 million to bring Morata to Anfield, Juventus are reportedly reluctant to sell the forward for any price.

The Reds are believed to be desperate for some reinforcement up front this term, with Christian Benteke struggling to adapt to Klopp’s high intensity system and Daniel Sturridge still out due to injuries.
