Jurgen Klopp To Become Liverpool Manager In Days

Except for the win over Aston Villa during the weekend, Liverpool have had a series of winless games all month long. And with such poor start into the new season, Brendan Rodgers’ position doesn’t look any more guaranteed for much long. The Irish hasn’t had the very best of seasons after leading Liverpool to a 2nd place finish few seasons ago. And with the Merseysiders growing more impatient season after season for that long much-awaited EPL title, Rodgers may be on his way out of the club if he drops more points. And with that certainty getting more clearer, former Borussia Dortmund handler, Jurgen Klopp is set to be ready to take over at Anfield pronto.

Although veteran coach, Carlo Ancelotti is also an option to fill any available vacancy in the Liverpool’s dugout, but the Italian isn’t likely to be available until the end of the year. And Liverpool might not have the patience to wait till that time when much more damage might have been done to the club’s chances of a top position finish.

The Reds management has made contacts with Klopp’s management over a possible deal. Jurgen Klopp at the moment is on a sabbatical after his 5-year stint with the German giants, and he could decide to cut it short if the right Premier League job comes up. And that’s likely to be anytime soon following Liverpool’s below-par performances.

Brendan Rodgers however might have bought a little more time for himself with the 3-2 win over Aston Villa, the game is the first time the Reds have scored more than a goal in a match since the season began. The victory puts them in 7th place, just 5 points below 1st place United. The Merseyside derby against Everton might be the last opportunity for Rodgers to hold on to his position, as a loss is most likely to put an end to his time at the Anfield.
