Jurgen Klopp to Sign Former Man Utd Star, Player Speaks Out on the Transfer

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is planning to cause a bit of a storm in the Premier League. According to sources, the German is planning to bring a former Man Utd star to Anfield in the summer.

According to Italian source Calciomercato, the Reds are keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez and are exploring the possibility of bringing the Mexican to Anfield.

Following his summer move from Old Trafford, Chicharito has taken the Bundesliga by storm and has scored 19 goals in 22 appearances for the German club.

The 27-year old spent five years at Old Trafford before sealing his summer move to Bundesliga for a reported fee of £7.3 million.

Chicharito has also been linked with a move to Arsenal and recently refused to rule out a summer move. When asked about the rumours linking him with a move away Leverkusen, he said: “We’ll see, you never know what happens.”

“You look at my last three years in which I have played for Real Madrid, Manchester United and now Leverkusen. I’m glad and happy to be part of this great club. It is my goal now to play a very good second half [of the season].”

“[But] in this sport, it does not matter whether you sign a contract for ten years or ten times to prolong it by one year. In six months, everything can again be different.”
