Karim Benzema To Become A Gunner? Frenchman Provides Hint

The Gunners have been rocked in their pursuit of a world-class forward once again as Arsenal’s main target this summer, Karim Benzema appears to have his heart set on remaining at Real Madrid beyond the summer.

Benzema does not appear to be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after his recent Instagram post where he wrote: “KB9 î™–î™–/ Come back soon…”

Benzema has been massively linked with a move to the Emirates for the past seasons, and Arsenal have allegedly submitted a mammoth offer for the France international striker.

The 27-year old joined Los Blancos in the summer of 2009, and has been leading the line for the Spanish giants for six years. However, Rafael Benitez’s arrival as manager of Real has sparked rumours of an exit for Benzema, with the Spanish boss reportedly looking to utilise Cristiano Ronaldo as the club’s main striker this season, flanked by Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez.

Arsenal were thought to be closing in on Benzema a couple of days ago, with manager Arsene Wenger optimistic a £46.4m offer will tempt Real to part ways with the France international striker.

Benzema has scored 133 goals in 281 appearances for Los Blancos, since moving from Lyon 6 year ago.
