Koke On The Way To Chelsea In January? Agent Speaks Up

Amidst the tussle to bounce back from the terrible displays over the course of the season thus far, Chelsea are still eyeing some top-notch players that will bolster their squad with the latest being Atletico Madrid’s Koke.

Even with the fervent report that the player will move away for the Vicente Calderon, his agent has remained adamant that the player will remain with the Rojiblancos on a long term and that Diego Simeone will constantly be in the need of the player.

As per Calciomercato, Inaki Espizua, who is the agent of the player said:

“Today, we only think about Atlético. The will of the player is to stay at this club, with whom we have an extraordinary relationship.

“There is no reason to think about anything else. There have always been talk of it, he is a top player and it’s normal that big clubs are thinking about him.”

The form and show-off of Chelsea’s midfielders has left so much to be desire – Fabregas has been less created than expected and his commitment to matches has seen him drawn so much tongue-lash. A Player in the mould of Koke will make Fabregas sit up as his place for the team will look threatened.

The 23-year-old has been regularly called in a star-studed Spain midfield and has also been a regular for Atletico Madrid since he was 19.

Meanwhile Chelsea’s season has been far from that of Defending Champions but they hope to find their momentum.
