Lacazette Likely To Move To Arsenal

Arsenal and Liverpool transfer target Alexandre Lacazette has dropped a major hint on where he will like to spend his next season and this hint is one that could leave only one club left to sign the explosive striker.

The hint is definitely a transfer boost for Arsenal but a major snag in the works for Liverpool’s plans to sign the striker as the player has decided that he will only move to a club that will be playing in the Champions League.

The Ligue 1 top scorer, Alexandre Lacazette has been linked with several clubs who are planning to steal the striker away from Lyon.

The 24-year-old forward has been seriously linked with the English Premier League clubs of Arsenal and Liverpool and it was still unclear where he might be pitching his tent next season but the player has clearly stated that his next move will depend on his destination and it will have to be a club that plays Champions League football.

When he was approched about his potential move, he said, ““Everything depends on the destination. It would have to be for a Champions League club. Barcelona and Real Madrid – you don’t reject them.”  “I could stay at Lyon next season and have a terrible season, I could leave and have an incredible season.” “But today, between leaving and staying, it is not 50-50 – it is zero. I am not thinking about it. I am going to enjoy the national team and I will think about it after.”

The striker may have done some wishful thinking to make such comments but since neither of the two spanish giants he mentioned will be making a move for him, it is obvious he will have to go to the next best suitor and that is clearly Arsenal.

However, the transfer fee embargo of €50 million to sign the forward might make it difficult for Wenger to sign such a player who he will definitely think is too expensive.

However,  a striker is seriously needed in the club and it will only be wise for Arsenal to sign Lacazette. It is just hoped that the club will also not join other clubs to further destroy the transfer market with these obscene prize-tags.
