Chelsea have reignited their interest in Everton defender John Stones, according to Daily Express. The Blues tried to sign the England international in the summer but failed in signing the 21-year old despite bidding for him three times.

The Blues see the defender as a long term replacement of veteran John Terry.

According to the report, Premier League champions are now ready to offer £50m to secure the signing of their target man in January. But the Blues will have to face off the competition from their Premier League rivals Man Utd, who have joined the chase for the Toffees’ most prized asset.
