Leicester City are ready to offer a new contract worth more than £80,000 a week wages to striker Jamie Vardy, according to Daily Mail.
The Foxes are keen to ward off the interests from Chelsea and Man Utd in their striker by tying him down to a new and better contract. Vardy, who turns 29 on January 11, is a top goalscorer in Premier League this season with 15 goals.
He and his teammate Riyad Mahrez have been the success stories of the season and have helped their club into the second position in the league at the turn of the year.
Vardy, who currently earns £40,000 a week, will more than double his wages if he signs the new contract at King Power Stadium.
