Liverpool cleared to sign top-class international after his agent confirmed move is possible
With the end in sight for 2015/2016 English Premier League season, a number of clubs have already set their eyes on a number of potential foreign players they plan to sign over the summer. Liverpool, one of the English Premier League clubs with the richest history of Premier League glory, has been restructuring ever since the immediate former manager, Bredan Rodgers, left.
It looks as if the new Liverpool Manager, Jurgen Klopp, is also keen on strengthening his squad. Liverpool and specifically Klopp has identified Erkin Caner, the Fenerbahce left back, as one of the new signing he would want to add on in the summer.
Liverpool’s interest has also received a necessary shot in the arm by the news from Caner Erkin’s agent that Caner Erkin is keen to secure a move from Fenerbahce, the Turkish club, with which he has been with since the year 2010. Caner Erkin’s agent, Batur Altiparmak, is on record having revealed to the site, Turkish-football.com, that Erkin Caner was open to a move to a top European club.
Erkin Caner’s addition would give manager Jurgen Klopp more options to select from given the fact that at times this season, Liverpool defense has been shaky .Besides, given the possibility of an even more competitive 2016/2017 season no manager wouldn’t want variety to select from.
