Chelsea and Liverpool target Granit Xhaka has hinted at a move to a ‘top top top’ club. The Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder is a man in demand at the moment and has been linked with a transfer move recently.
Various reports have claimed that clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are interested in the player. And now he has hinted that he would be interested in a move to a ‘top top top’ club if he is a part of the first team on a regular basis.
“Gladbach are a top club,” he told German newspaper Bild. “But if I were someday to go to a top, top, top club, I want to play there.
“I’m not the type to be on the bench.”
The 23-year old is a Swiss international and has already won 39 caps for the national team.
He played a crucial part in Monchengladbach’s season last season and helped them finish in the Champions League spot.
He has been dubbed as “young Schweinsteiger” by former Switzerland national manager Ottmar Hitzfeld.
