According to reports from Football Italia, Inter Milan turned down a £22.7 million Liverpool offer for star man Mauro Icardi.
It is believed that Liverpool did make an offer for the Argentine on transfer deadline day, but with so little time to find a suitable replacement, Inter Milan turned it down.
It was speculated that Icardi was on the market after he was dripped for the Milan Derby and missed a penalty as a substitute.
The Argentine international came off the bench against Milan and has an incredible opportunity to the game at 1-1 but he fluffed his penalty, resulting to a 3-0 loss to their arch rivals.
Arsenal and Chelsea were keen on signing the Argentine International, who was heavily liked with a move from the Giuseppe Meazza.
