We have already mentioned about the motivation of FC Liverpool to get highly qualified players for the next season. The club is negotiating with Argentine player of Paris Saint Germain Javier Pastore.
Famous Italian specialist Carlo Ancelotti, who once was the head coach of the French club, said that Pastore is very skillful and can make change in the game whenever needed. Though problems with injuries did not let him show all his skills and experience this season.
He only played 14 matches for the French Championship, scored 2 goals, and helped his playmates to score 4 times. This is of course not enough for a 26 year old player who has potential to achieve more. The Reds are ready to pay for the South American player £23 million.
Liverpool FC, is also interested in the services of Arsenal’s ex-defender Thomas Vermalen, who currently plays at Catalan FC Barcelona. The Belgium international, though, being a part of Catalan big family for 2 seasons, didn’t have enough playtime, because of injuries.
From Liverpool’s point of view Vermalen is familiar with English football and experienced in it. When the player moved from Ajax to Arsenal, he was defending forcefully, and helping teammates in front.
As you see Liverpool is determined to make the club stronger for the next season, to win all the possible titles.
