Liverpool have formally made their transfer intentions known to Schalke 04 for their impressive midfielder Leroy Sane, per reports. Sane was signed from the youth team of Bayern Munich in 2011 and has become the midfield revelation of Bundesliga.

His upsurge has seen clubs including Manchester United keenly interested in his signature. It is understood that Liverpool have formally made their intentions known in a bid to upstage Manchester United to his signature. Klopp has sanctioned a £10 million bid for the impressive 19-year-old attacking midfielder.
