Liverpool Plan Mega Bid For Powerful 6ft 4″ Tall Defensive Star

As part of his transfer plan for the January transfer window, Liverpool new boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to add FC Koln shot stopper, Timo Horn to the Reds rank, as per report. The 22-year-old Germany international, who started his career with SC Randorf has been impressive for club since the beginning of the season. Mignolet has been relatively impressive this term but Klopp is looking to create competition and put more pressure on his shot stopper. Klopp feels some of the goals conceded by Mignolet were avoidable and thinks the only way to make him improve is to get him a competitor for the spot.

The major challenge for Liverpool would not be the funds to sign Timo Horn but FC Koln wouldn’t want to let their impressive goalie. Liverpool currently sits in 10th position on the Premier League log and Mignolet has conceded 14 goals in 12 appearances while FC Koln are on 7th position on the Bundesliga table. Horn is understood to have his contract running until the summer of 2019 and has a 9 million euros release clause.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will take a trip to the Etihad next weekend and it will be one of the toughest for Klopp who is yet to adapt to the rhythm of Premier League football.
